Project Development Services

The main emphasis of Greenstock's business has always been providing assistance to sponsors of agricultural processing projects. We have been involved on some basis in projects based on the processing of corn, wheat, oats, milk, beef, grapes and by-products from the primary processing of these materials. The products produced from these projects include native and specialty cereal proteins and starches, food fiber, vegetable oils for food or technical uses, protein or fibers-based feed ingredients, ethanol (fuel and industrial), cheese, wine and kosher beef.

Our role in project development can include:

• Site selection and advice on infrastructure development
• Choice of plant sizing and product line.
• Choice of technology and design/build services and negotiation of agreements with their suppliers
• Assistance in securing feedstock supply and its transportation
• Assistance in securing product off-take agreements and transportation
• Negotiation of utility agreements
• Solicitation of operating management
• Structuring and solicitation of project financing
• Preparation of a Business Plan incorporating the results of all of the activities listed above

We will prepare feasibility studies, but do not actively pursue their preparation except as an adjunct or necessary first step to entering into the project development stage.

Clients often do not require all of these services. We review each project idea that comes to us and then tell the sponsor whether we feel we can be of service and, if so, how we would propose to assist them.
