The ingestion of fiber has been shown to be very important for optimum maintenance of health. Greenstock is familiar with the process and has tested the milling, separation, and recovery equipment required to produce bran or fiber from corn, wheat, barley, and oats. Greenstock is knowledgeable of the processing parameters that result in a final product being produced with a high dietary fiber content or a high water or oil binding capacity. The Company has developed its own approach to the milling and further processing of oats, one that results in the production of a high protein (>70% protein) feed ingredient and a bran product that contains more than 20% beta-glucan, the soluble fiber responsible for maintenance and lowering of cholesterol.
